96 accord intake
F22 non vtec should i get cold air or short ram intake?
i heard that cold air sucks in water when it rains and gets it in the engine, but how much will a short ram actually add to my car?
ALSO is a short shifter worth installing?

Not much gains from an intake alone. Whatever you can buy at a better price. If you go with a CAI AEM sells a special valve to protect the engine if it sucks in water. And yes a short shifter makes the car a bit more fun to drive around.

There is absolutely no reason to get a cold air intake. On a stock motor the cold(er) air is not going to do anything...just get whatever short ram that floats your boat. And yes no performance when it comes to an intake, just a change in engine sound is all.

You want it faster yet your asking questions about intakes and short shifters?
If you truly want it faster...turbo it...swap in a h22...send the car to bisimoto and have him build your f22... Plenty of write-ups on these options. If you want your car to be faster and dont want to burn a hole in your wallet...then its time to get a new hobby, cause going faster = $.
