95 Accord Vibration
This all started about 1.5 years ago. The front right CV joint started making that clunking sound when turning to the left. Both CV joints were replaced at that time. Within 6 months the right CV joint again started making noise. It was replaced as being defective. And now six months later it is again just barely beginning to make noises.
Now add in the vibration I get in the front end when accelerating between 20-30 and 60-70 mph, NOT when you are coasting at these speeds. Sometimes I can even feel the vibration when braking hard at 65 mph. The vibration does not come through the pedal. Ive replaced the following and yes they were bad but have not fixed the vibration:
front wheel bearings
main engine bearing
timing belt
transmission mount (cracked)
new tires, balanced, aligned
wheels checked for being in round
My mechanic says he cannot figure it out. Nothing left to replace, though I guess we could replace the CV joint again. It was thought that the bad transmission mount was the source of the CV joint going bad. Next stop is the Honda dealer.
Any advice is appreciated.

Re: 95 Accord Vibration (YeuEmMaiMai)
thanks. I'll talk to my mechanic about it. Could the CV/axel replacements been done incorrectly? Should it have been aligned after axel replacement? Do the axels have weights that either need to be installed or adjusted?

A loose (Worn) inner (at steering rack end) or outer (at steering arm end) tie rod end can cause vibration when either stopping or accelerating. Your Technician SHOULD know how to test them.

Re: 95 Accord Vibration (psadler)
I had a joint replaced and the car did not need an allignment. The tie rods are not like in american cars so as long as you do not remove then to change the axle you are ok.
