What Could It Be?

Re: What Could It Be?
If your Accord is "lagging" upon start-up then the problem most likely can be attributed to either the starter, alternator or a dying battery/loose battery terminals. Are you solely experiencing this reluctance upon start-up or is there any stumbling during acceleration or erratic idle involved?
For your bank account's sake I hope that it isn't the starter motor because I recall this part being quite expensive at a lofty $700 at Honda dealerships and $500 at discounted OEM Honda parts sites such as hondapartsnow.com!
I'd look into the battery route and test the life of it with a voltmeter. If the battery possesses sufficient juice then I'd move onto inspecting the other aforementioned parts.

High Internal Resistance in the wire somewhere. Make sure both of your battery terminals are free of corrosions as this can cause it to drag upon start up.
