94 accord lx, parking/dash lights problem
Hi, I searched for a little while now, but I must be horrible at typing in the right word in a search box... but heres the problem. I was driving at night and all the sudden all my dash lights go out, along with my brake lights. I checked all the underdash fuses and underhood fuses, and they are all fine. I also changed all the bulbs in the tail/head lights just in case. I'm not sure if there is a specific fuse for the parking lights or even where to find it. Any help would be really appreciated, thanks in advance!

well ive had the same problem. for a long time. and im pretty sure i know the fix for every single part of this.
1. check the dimmer switch see if its getting power.
2. check ur wiring, make sure u have nothing grounded under the hood
3. check ur relays.
4. check ur actual light switch. called a combination switch.
5. if all seems fine. then take apart the lower panel underneath the steering wheel and trace the red/black wire from the combo switch all the way to the fuse box by ur left foot. check for a burnt wire or anything like that.
oh and the fuse for the parking lights is the small light fuse wich is a 15amp fuse.
hope any of my info was helpful.
good luck.

Re: (huskyl3oi)
before doing all that just check the small lights fuse under the hood....it controls your parking/taillights along withg your interior lights and alot of time is caused by changing out the radio and the illumination wire grounds out on something

Thanks so much to both of you, I got it working. It was the underhood fuse... I didn't notice it yesterday that when I checked it, it was blinking and not solid. I also did everything you said Husky, and changed all of those things. I payed about $90 for the wiring, relay and the combo switch , and had my had my grandfather out it all in. Everything is working fine now! Once again, thanks a lot!

Hello
I am new here and was reading this thread. I have no dash lights. Radio works fine. Would the illumination wire cause the dash lights to go out? They started flickering a couple of days ago but once the car warmed up they was fine. Now as of tonight they flickered all the way home. With the car in the garage I can not get them to come on at all. I figure the bumps in the road was making them flicker. I have checked all the fuses there OK.
As of now I am thinking the ICU or the Dimmer relay may be bad. Unless there is a bad ground
