Icon6 94 Accord Ex with H22A and F22B1 Transmission. Help needed!

Hello fellow Honda owners! I have a 94 Accord Ex with an H22A and F22B1 transmission. Im using the P0F Ecu from a JDM Accord SIR Auto but the car runs good through 1st and 3rd but when in 4th or high 3rd check engine light comes on, then it starts shifting weird. When I use the F22B1 Ecu the tranny works fine, I only have an idle problem of course it might be cause it doesn't read IAB. If you have any suggestions please inform me. Thank you guys!

Yeah it threw 1 quick flash and then a quick two. It supposedly for the lock up solenoid. But I replaced both of the solenoids. But with the F22B1 Ecu it doesn't throw any codes It only idles a bit weird maybe from not reading IAB and knock. The transmission only acts funny with the P0F module.

the transmision lock up solenoid is code 19. thats a long flash and 9 short flashes
1 short flash is the o2 sensor, 2 short flashes is tdc sensor.
iab is not "read" by the ecu, it will signal on that output but that is it.

Ok are those the codes output for the P0F or the F22B1 Ecu? And how would the O2 and TDC affect the tranny? Thanks for helping man!

those codes are for all honda ecus in the us and japan from 88-01. I am assuming you are using an auto transmission? it could be that the p0f and the accord transmission computer are not getting along so you may need to resolve that by getting the p19 transmission computer.
it could also be that the tdc and o2 sensor are putting it into a limp mode which can cause the engine to run weird and possibly shift weird since the transmission is also computer controlled. i know the p13 computer has two swapped pinouts compared to the 94-95 accord computer so that may also be the case with the p0f.

the f22bi ecu idles weird because its for 240cc injectors on the f22 rather than 345cc on the h22 engine.

Is the D4 light flashing when you have the SCS connector shorted?

If so those would be trans codes 1 & 2. And they are for the lock up control solenoids.

However, It would probably work better if you get the TCU that works with the ECU. That being said, it may not be the best for the transmissions gearing.

AFAIK there is no PGM-FI DTC 2 for the OBD1 Accords. DTC 8 is the TDC sensor error. Need to know for sure if these are trans codes or engine codes being thrown in order to help more.

p19 tcm is one that works with the prelude h22a auto swaps, if not then you will have to try and find the accord sir tcm, not a clue what code it is.

Will the Accord SIR tcm fit the f22b1 tranny? Ok what I have is a 92-95 JDM H22A/94 JDM Accord Transmission, F22B1 wiring harness with IAB and Knock sensor Connections, P0F Ecu F90 Series from a Accord SiR Auto. Car starts and idles perfectly, no D4 flashes and no check engine light. When in high 3rd and 4th check engine light comes on and then shifts improperly. When driven with the F22B1 Ecu, transmission shifts perfectly but engine idles improperly. If anyone knows more about this type of swaps and set ups, your help will be highly appreciated.

Ok guys I got the car working flawlessly... I found out that pin A6 and A11 do not change in the P0F Ecu. Here is another setup for future automatic swappers...92-95 JDM H22A/ 94-97 F22B or F22B1 Auto Transmission, F22B1 Harness with added IAB and Knock sensors, 94-97 P0F Ecu from Accord SiR Auto. * Remember! Do not swap pin A6 and A11 for this ecu.*

Engine and Transmission obtained from Japan Star Motor who receives a 9/10 rating from myself. I recommend JSM to anyone looking for JDM engines. They have a gallery of JDM engines at a very good price. Engines are almost in an impecable condition. I dont regret buying from them...
