hey, i recently purchased a 95 accord ex 5 speed and sometimes, worse on some days than others i have a difficult time shifting into first gear. i either put it in neutral or 3rd and it goes in, but i was wondering if anyone knew what it could be. i searched the internet and i seen its a problem with other cars but i can't really find any concrete answers. my buddy said its normal, and were just going to change the trans fluid but i wanted to make sure if anyone else had any other experiances before i started really looking into it.. thank you

Changing out the tranny fluid should be helpful

Just use Honda MTF and don't put any additive crap.

the same thing happens to my car. im gana try changing the tranny fluid too. but in the mean time i found it helpful to leases the clutch then just clutch it back in agian. its should go into 1st with ease.
