Default 91 accord fan issues

Hello!

Ok, so I know there are probably hundreds of threads on here regarding fan problems and I have read through most of them but can't seem to pinpoint my specific problems..

First off, the condenser fan does not kick on with the A/C, secondly, the radiator fan does not kick on when the car is shut off as it should, and finally the fans do not cool the engine adequately while driving or idling.

If I let the car get hot both fans kick on for about 15 seconds and then shut off.. they will do this intermittently but the car overheats.

The relay is good, the temp sensor at the thermostat housing has been replaced, the ECT has been replaced, and the thermostat is good. I have even replaced the fan timer control switch under the dash.

I have jumped the temp sensor and both fans come on and as I mentioned previously they will both kick on while the car is hot but only for a few seconds.. so now I am all out of ideas.. can ANYone shed some light on this? I would greatly appreciate it.. this is my only means of transportation.

Take the thermostat out and put it all back together and run without the thermostat. See if the car starts to overheat.

Doesn't running a car WITHOUT a thermostat cause it to run hot due to the coolant not getting a chance to to actually cool?

Besides.. how does this affect the fans not functioning properly?

That's a hilarious myth that's been passed down. I find it hard to believe people still believe that.

This test isn't designed to test fan function.

Well, I have no clue which is why I asked.. just something I've read throughout the forums here trying to solve my issue.

I have not tried it yet but I can do so.

Thanks for the reply.
