'91 Accord Crank Pulley Removal
OK, got the Crank pulley bolt out, with help of puller holder (worth all $29 dollars). Now, how do you get the $%&*!@ Pulley off ? Another special tool ? Dang it !!! I have WD-40'd the heck out of it. Thanks, folks.

Use a big ol' breaker bar with a torque wrench. Or... hold onto the pulley and blip the starter. The torque of the starter motor should loosen the pulley. Or if all fails, IMPACT WRENCH! Use it sparingly of course.

Re: '91 Accord Crank Pulley Removal (showgunz)
To restate, got the bolt and washer out fine, can see the splines on the shaft, and the shaft key, but the pulley won't come off. Hosed it with WD-40 to soak overnight will try again tomorrow. Any tips, tricks, etc ?? Thanks.

Re: '91 Accord Crank Pulley Removal (H22ABOY)
I must be missing something here. Impact on what ? I have broken the bolt loose which holds the pulley on and removed it and the washer. The pulley is sitting on the crank shaft now with no bolt holding it on, but I haven't enough gorilla in me to yank it off the shaft. There is no bolt in there any more to put an impact or any other flavor wrench on? You can't really pry it off, because of the plastic cover behind it. Unless it's a tapered shaft (shouldn't be, it's splined) it should pull right off. May be a little rust. As I say, I've WD'd it to soak, will try again tomorrow. Tks.
