Plugged the wire into the battery cable and whalah I have power. You all have helped me so much and I am grateful. Thank you so much

Please help me I have a 1993 honda civic lx sedan that was recently in a crash it didn't hurt the motor or trans at all but after that I had no electrical power at all butt my caution lights that's the only electrical power I have I jumped the car off and it crunk right up but as soon as it cut off samething, no electrical power but my caution lights any idea? Please help

I'm not that good with civic's but if the car runs with jumper cables but with out nothing work except the hazzard lights.....you have a bad battery or battery cables.
