Default 2007 Accord with 245/40ZR18 ?

Hey guys, any ideas if 245/40ZR18 tires will fit ok (without rubbing issues) on a stock 2007 Accord Coupe? I've seen that 215/45-18 are the "best" match but I was looking for something a little wider while not totally wacking out the speedometer. 245/40 is almost identical to my stock 16" circumference (1/10 of an inch off). Thanks in advance!

PS
Wheels are 18x7.5 ASA AR1 Black w/Mach Lip

if you're not lowered, i'd advise you to go 225/40/18..if width is what you want.. 245? what do you think you are, a cobra?

You can run 245's no problem on the accord, but the 18x7.5 wont work past 235 which is pushing it. 235/45or40/18 should work just fine.

you can mount a 245/40/18 it'll just look ballooned out. makes me feel bad for the guy dismounting it later on. 245 is too fat of a tire on a 7.5" go 225/40/18

lol you're all 100% right. i don't know what i was thinking to be honest with you. i remembered back to a buddy who ran 235's on 7.5" rims and they bulged out. i can only imagine what 245's would look like. i'll prob do the 225 40's and see how that works out. thanks for straightening me up!
