Hello All, I brought my accord-02 back to life after being flooded inside out. When i turn on the keys nothing shows on dash. But while driving D4 light blinking. Also my rpm stays at 3000 to run at 80km/h. Normally the rpm indicator use to come down and stay close to 2000 once on top. I worry if i may damage anything more if i keep running like this. 

Update:-

I pulled the hand brake on.... Tried shifting the gear one by one... When i go to D4, the D4 light starts blinking... All the way down... nothing happens... But when Shifting back up... It gives a hard jerk in R... when all this is happening the rpm gauge reacts going up... like it stands around 1500 or so... Pls. help... Where the TCM is located on 2002 accord...? What could possibly have gone wrong? Where do i need to start my diagnosis?

I took my car to the local autoshop who scans the codes...

Following are the results...

Could some one help me troubleshoot these?

P0700 Automatic Transmission Control System

P1705 Short in Transmission Range Switch Circuit (More than one range position is on at the same time)

P1706 Open in Transmission Range Switch Circuit

I suspect my car is not shifting more than 2 gears...

P0700 is a generic 'somethings wrong with the transmission' code. It is rather a pointless code as you will know there is something wrong without having to look at codes. It's so generic even Honda does not have a listed code description.
Consider it the idiot light of Honda OBDII trans diagnostics.

P1705 and P1706 are in regards to the switch mounted on the transmission. On 2.3 cars it is mounted above where the drain plug is. If the car was flooded the switch may simply be corroded and or shorted out.

There is no TCU/ECU combo, it is a single PCM.

Thanks a lot.. I really appreciate ur support... Am quite sure now tht should be the fault... Am gonna try to fix this tomoro... BTW.. If in case of any short circuits on PCM.. Any bad resistors or capacitors... Do you think a computer guy can fix this...? Or i should get a new PCM...

P to R to N to D4 makes D4 to blink... D4 to R gives a hard shift... With a severe jerk and audible sound (dhuck). every time this happens rpm gauge moves up over 1200... i suspect gear not shifting more than 2 gears when running... Now the Car has to run at 3000 rpm to reach 80km/h.

Thanks everyone for your valuable comments... Have got lots of info... Actually after spending couple of 100 bucks got the car running back on street... But the issues now is different...

MAX RPM the car can get is only till 5000... Engine kinda hesitates to move further.... If i suddenly leave my gas pedal off, the RPM keeps bouncing... Even when the car is running at around 70km/hr... The RPM falls down and jumps back to normal.... This is all about the Engine problems am facing right now...

As for as Tranny is concern, D4 keeps blinking... Car doesn't shift gears after second gear... I tried to give gas... even after 3000 rpms... no gear shifts... On OBD scan I got P1705 & 1706 codes which is for transmission range switch.. Not sure if that could cause this shifting problem...
