I'm trying to fix my girls car it over heated on her again the first time it did we got the water pump changed and a few weeks later it over heated again so I changed a heater hose and thermostat. Now a few weeks later it over heated and I can't figure it out but now the heaterwont even blow but the ac does?? Anyone have any ideas?? I was kinda thinks the heater control valve??

Are both fans running when it overheats ? Does the lower radiator hose get hot throughout the hose when it starts to overheat ?

Ok so i tried today messing with it i could not get it to over heat but both fans were turning on and off with the ac and at first the heater would not work.. but now it is?? I am so confused and thisis her only car and she is prego due next week we need this car yes the lower hose is hot threw the whole hose

It doesn't matter if the fans come on when the ac is turned on, you need to see if the fans come on when it starts to overheat when the ac is off.

I'm starting to think the ac control unit might be broken the fan automatically turn on when I turn the key to acc and sometimes when I try to turn on the heater or ac it won't even blow at all
But I think I fixed the over heating issue by flushing the coolant.

Issue fixed car is no longer over heating turns out i had water in the system but antifreeze works much better..
And the heater must be a different issue so thanks everyone
