2000 Accord Drvr side auto lock problem
My 2000 Accord has a problem that appears to only affect the drivers side door autolock function. Whenever I try to open the drivers side door, it automatically locks ALL the doors. I can open it if I time it just right and open as soon as I hear the click. Too early or too late, they all lock, whether the key is in the ignition or not. I have locked the keys in the car with the engine running, that is not "supposed" to be possible.
I have replaced the actuator and am waiting on parts to replace the entire lock assembly on Drivers side door, but I'm beginning to doubt that will solve the problem. It appears to me to be something electrical and the door lock assembly may or may not have anything to do with solving this problem????
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
