1999 Accord F24 Power Steering Tensioner?
I just put a new Power Steering belt on my 1999 Accord, and it seems to work fine, but there is too much deflection in the belt after driving it around. I don't see any way to adjust the tension on this pump, other than just pulling up on it, which doesn't seem to work. Is there any way to add tension to this mechanically?

Looking at the parts diagram it doesn't seem there is a tensioner adjustment like on the 90-97 cars.
Can you place a screwdriver under the pump and gently prise it up and then lock down the lower adjuster?

Re: 1999 Accord F24 Power Steering Tensioner?
Sorry for revival kids but I too was confused about this issue. Anyway skimming through the repair manual it turns out there is an insert for a 1/2 inch breaker bar or rachet on the power steering pump to adjust the tension.
