1996 Accord DX P0335 CKP
Hello all,
Used to dealing with mostly Civics, Integras and other but not so clear on the Accord F series engines. We were on the way home from a trip and the car hiccuped and threw a CEL. Pulled the code on the road and was code 4 CKP sensor. Car won't rev much over 3K RPM's but it is driveable. Got home pulled the code P0335 CKF circuit low or unplugged. Now I know on the Civics this sensor is in the distributor. And from searching online I can't determine where it is on this model only can find info on the VTEC engine. Is it in the distributor or behind the crank pulley? Its the stock F22B non VTEC engine. Thanks

Inside the OBD1 distributor are the Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor, Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, and the Cylinder Position (CYP) sensor. On the OBD2 engines, the TDC and CKP sensors are located at the front of the engine behind the harmonic balancer.

Nevermind ended up having to take it in due to I'm moving and don't have access to my tools. Pretty pricey for the part and labor is a beast. Might as well do a timing belt service while you're there (too bad I did mine 8 months ago). Thanks for the help and here's a good reference for those who want to do it themselves:
