The driver side fan dont turn on..the passenger side fan only comes on when i drive the car for a while and i get off the car it stays on for a few minutes then it turns of..

I thought the driver side fan is for the ac? turn on the ac and see if it turns on. Also, would it work if you jump it?

The fan on the left (driver's side) is for the A/C it won't come on unless the A/c is on.

Check the relays and fuses.

Not correct. Thermo A controls BOTH fans. Meaning if the car is on and Thermo A gets to temp (~199 F) BOTH fans should run.

Thanks for replying its much appreaciated..well i try everything and my cooling fan dont turn on..can it be the timer box the one under the steering colum?coul that be why my cooling fan wont come on when it gets hot? How about that sensor under neeth the distrubiator,its mounted tp the block? What does that sensor is for? Also if the sensor that is mounted to the top radiator hose dont work could that be the cause of why my cooling fan (driver side) isnt turning on when the engine gets hot? To answer the question both fans do come on when i jump them.that how i have them right now ...

You have two fans on your car. They both need to run at the same time while the car is on. This time keep an eye on exactly which ones run and which ones don't.

When you figure that out, report back in detail so you can get some real advice.

Thermo A is on the t-stat housing where the lower hose connects to the engine.....green two wire connector. If you are testing - remove the connector and use something (paperclip, piece of wire) to jump the two wires together. Turn the key to "on"/pos II and BOTH fans should run.

You do have a fan timing unit behind the glove box. If everything else checks out pull that timer unit out and open it up to see if the circuit board is burnt.
