Default simple question needs answering... please

Ok, I'm sure a lot of you may think, "wow, really!?" ...BUT I want to be 100% right on what I know and what I'm talking about. I see all of this talk about CD 4/5/6, etc. I did find out my 94 is a CD, lol... but is it a CD5? I do find this on the V.I.N. # ...right? I'm slowly, but surely learning about my car and all the wonderful things I can do to it and with it

94-97 USDM 2 dr = CD7
94-97 USDM 4 dr = CD5
94-97 USDM 5 dr = CE1
95-97 USDM 4dr V6 = CE6

Here is a link that should help you decipher it,

Another thing... is this common for my car? It's stock, came that way, haven't seen it on any other cd5's, or just haven't noticed.

Haven't been asked in a long time, since I kept saying no. So I don't think it'd work.
