Hello HT! I was collecting parts for a f22b1 budget turbo in my 97 accord ex 4dr 5spd, but recently saw that my severely ported head has smaller ports than stock h22a4 head at a scrap yard. It was on a t-boned 97 prelude (base) manual and since the top end was $250, I bought it. It is missing exhaust manifold since old one had a cracked collector. I did not buy the ecu nor looked at it since car was hit from passenger side and i'd have to cut floor to get it.
I bought arp head studs for h22a4. Can I use my wiring harness and buy a 97 prelude ecu to run the g22 n/a? Will ecu just plug in? What head gasket do I use?
BTW, I also bought manual trans from same car with flywheel, clutch, axles, shifter assembly, and pedals from same wrecked car. Not sure if I need them, but it was all I could take for extra $680. Now I'm out of cash for now and trying to figure out what else I'm missing for g22 build.
P.S. : prelude has better gears from what I heard. How do I tell if it has lsd?
