"According to a police affidavit released yesterday, on Friday before the stabbing, Fauatea went into Longs Drugs at Ewa Town Center and purchased a foot-long kitchen knife. He handed a wad of money to the cashier and walked off without the change. Then he went toward the Ewa Seed Co., unwrapping the knife, police said. Yamashita was sitting on a bench eating a bowl of noodles when Fauatea knocked the noodles out of her hand and started stabbing her at about 1:45 p.m., police said."



Wow. I always think the victim had something to do with the crime. But how sad is this? I hate to see worthless members of society affect the life (lives) of someone who have so much to give.

What's the big deal about target? I still don't understand.

I would avoid the Salt Lake Blvd area on weekends because of Costco. I was around the time K-Mart first open on Nimitz. It was a mad house. People were buying stuff like it was free. Ok, I understand Hawaii guys never had a big time chain store. Then Wal-Mart opened in Mililani. It was 24hr. We would drive to way out there from Waikiki at 2 am just because it was open. I guess the fun was to just look around.

So it has been many many years since. Hawaii guys have seen it all. What's so exciting about Target now?
