Re: DA Integra's Only
Figuring I'll ask here as I've been looking for so long and still can't find the correct answer.
Trying to fix "bumper sag" on my 92, where it droops under the headlights. Bolts connecting to bumper support are tight, bolts connecting at fender are tight.
Still quite a bit of gap between the headlights and top of bumper. Suggestions? Thanks!

Here's mine...lot of work. It had 125 hail dents, 75 were on the hood. Lol.
You can tell the paint didn't come out shinny, but that was because it was barely 50 degrees when I painted it, but I had to get it done last year before moving. Cold winter in West Texas. I couldn't put the paint on heavy enough to puddle. It's ok tho....lots of other things to do now. At least you can't see all the hail damage anymore.
Before I did all the bodywork, I had some electrical to fix....odds and ends and I went thur all the suspension bushiings, AGX stuts, some exhaust work...you guys know.

Re: DA Integra's Only
This couldn't be any more of a long shot but looking at a built all motor DC9 today got me feeling nostalgic... about 12 years ago I sold DA and today I'm wondering where it may be today... Curious if its popped up on here anywhere or if any members may have seen anything about it in the last decade. Last known location was around Houston, TX. It was a 1991 and had a fully built all motor LS/Vtec. Red with CF hood, Black Rota Grid wheels. Full suspension upgrades, and Full Race traction bar. Many more mods that could be listed. One unique mod was the in dash Tauras cup holder.
Again... super long shot but thought i'd post. Glad to see the DA Community still going strong!

I don't know why you guys give'em up. Mine's just too nice to sell. I might upgrade a few things, and have....but it's a keeper.
It used to have 125 hail dents, but mostly on the hood. I just like it too much to ever give it up. Admittedly, I think the '90 is special, but I'm biased of course.

Re: DA Integra's Only
I own a 90 teggy. But I’m starting to run into some problems. See if you guys can help me out. My transmission is starting to go. Now, I know I can buy a new one, but is there a way to rebuild the tranny instead? I looked up parts for the trans but I want to make sure before I start buying.

Yes, it's possible to rebuild your transmission. It's worth taking it to a shop that does quality work, especially if you have no experience with it.
Re: DA Integra's Only
Anyone know what else could be causing my idle to jump/idle rough. I clean the control valve and FITv and bought a new throttle body gasket and it still idling rough. (90 Acura integra b18a1) any idea what it could be?
Re: DA Integra's Only
I haven't posted on this site in probably two years, but figured I'd post a bit of an update for anyone who remembers my car.
This is what it looked like before I blew it up in January 2017
This is what it looks like now =[ I did repaint the bay although it's very dirty in this picture so hard to tell

But, the motor is rebuilt and finally coming together =]

Re: DA Integra's Only
Make sure you don’t have air in your cooling system. Honda engines hate air, it causes all types of surging and stalling sysmptoms at idle.
Re: DA Integra's Only
Hey yall. So I bought this 1993 LS during the spring of this year for $1000. PO was selling it in “as is” condition and simply stated that it did not run. I took a chance on it and brought it back from Baltimore to Pittsburgh. And fortunately it only needed a new distributor and it fired right up. I’ve been daily driving this car ever since and have been working on all the problems it’s throwing at me. So far I’ve replaced, thermostat, ecu, transmission, flywheel and clutch, oil pan and gasket, right lower ball joint, left inner and outer tie rods, front brake pads and rotors, condenser fan relay, head lamps, dome light door jam switches, license plate lightbulb wires.... I’ve also lowered it on some
Neuspeed-bilstein coilovers with dc integra front knuckles for coilover fitment. Overall I feel like it’s a decent running integra. It needs an exhaust, and it needs a radiator, but the engine is amazingly fresh with 228,xxx miles. The interior is absolutely immaculate. Every accessory works like it should. It has very dark 5% limo tint that was added by The P.O. it rest of the car minus the hood is completely primered, the hood is super faded red. Car has no rust, and all the lines are straight. It does have some type of long scratch looking blemish running along the driver side that it difficult to see. It came with these funky teal colored avid1 wheels 15x8. 185/55/15 tires of assorted makes.
Incant decide at this point what to do next, make it look really good? Or make it go really fast. I have the choice of spending the money to One or the other for the new year, but not both....When I first saw the car I was like”okay everything strat, but this looks like a joke.” But I have to say the look of it has grown on me. But overall I’d prefer a decent mature paint scheme and some respectable wheels, less tint. And I’m impressed with the performance of it, but of course id like to turn this A1 engine into a high compression beast. Which one do you all think I should do first?
