Default What happened to Stealth at Great America? (Nor Cal)

I'm heading down to Great America in Santa Clara this Friday and I found out that Stealth had been shut down. It's been a while since I last went there, but I found it to be one of the best rides there.

Anyone know why and/or when it was shut down?

The killing rides are the best ones, you know it's good if it can get your heart pumping that fast.

I think they moved Stealth to another park. Not sure why. It's been replaced by some water ride.

Waited four hours when I went on it, the ride literally had some kind of malfunction every 5 minutes. Still awesome though!

Went back after a year and the ride was gone.

I remember Great America like... 5 - 6 years ago. I wonder what it looks like now.

So I just went on Friday and workers were tellin me this bull about shutting it down to expand some water area for the kids, whatever. Lines weren't that long, bout 23 minuntes was the longest I waited which was for Invertigo. The park was all the same as the last time I went, which I think was ~5-6 years ago, except no Stealth this time. A friend of mine had some $25 tickets, but the regular price is $50 (for 2 days).

Oh, and canned sodas are still $3+ dollars in there.
