No. People can't spell my street name if their life depended on it. I still get all that is mailed to me.

they'll be able to fix it unless your city has two streets with the exact same street names i.e. 1st st & 1st road

I had a package that couldn't be delivered because there was no apartment number.

I live in a two unit apartment, but there are only two addresses., no apartment numbers. Their solution? Send a postcard to THE EXACT SAME ADDRESS asking me to call them and clear it up. What the hell?

You should be alright. My street name is Stoneside and someone put something like Brownstone and it still got delivered to my house. (They didn't put brownstone, but it was something like _____stone.)

It will still be delivered to you (but may be delayed a day or two).

nope, should not be a problem at all. it will get to your post office, and then the carrier will get it, and he should know.

if u had a tracking number...call ups and ask them to put that package on hold at the office and u can pick it up there....or u can tell them the correct address and they will try to deliver the package the follwing business day

Also,

If the address is misspelled (doesn't match what UPS has on file) it costs the company that ships the package 10 dollars to their account for each time UPS has to research for the correct address.

True. We are well aware of the fact due to numerous customer errors on our site. But then again it's all part of doing business online.

I also drive for ups and did dispatch before that. When they type in the address thats on the package if it doesnt match up anything in the system it will give the clerk a list of possible matches and they pretty much just pick what they think is closest. Having a street name off by 1 letter isnt going to cause a problem. Just in case, track it, and if it doesnt get delievered on the 1st attempt you can call in and have them do an address correction, but it has to be attempted at least once so the driver can then give it to the clerk to be corrected.
