Warriors weren't too bad, lot of ball movement- they just missed open shots. Spurs look nice, but I think they'll fizzle out mid to late season.

LAKERS tonight doe sup fam.

Leonard is such a beast. Bet that average goes up 5pts + this year.

KD is my favorite player, but last night was oddly satisfying.

GSW may as well be the big three MIA era to me now. It's good for the league to have another villain.
I'm a Jaylen Brown homer (Go Bears!), but I'm eager to see him reach his potential. Going to be a plus, possibly elite defender, but needs to improve his shooting and reduce TO's.

Based on what? Losing Duncan? Not sure why people are quick to marginalize SAS when they've been the most consistent team the past few seasons.

Still not 100% sold on him, but I love his attitude. He's in the right system to shine. I already have my Bird socks on ready for tonight.

Coach Pop just knows how to break down other teams. He's created a culture and a brand of basketball that's just SOLID! He knew we don't have a big in the paint, so they just kept pounding it in there and there was nothing we could do. There's that and the DUBS are still trying to figure things out... line ups, switches, defense and spacing, etc. A lot of that was the result of poor turn overs and defensive break downs. I'm NOT surprised we got worked... early growing pains as I see it. Just hope we have it all figured out by the All Star break in Feb or even sooner!

They play the Pelicans, Suns and then the Blazers, before hosting the Thunder.

I see them going 3-1 in that stretch with the possible loss in Portland.

Maybe it was just me but I noticed a whole other sense of confidence in his game last night. Things appeared to be coming easy to him.

that's what training with Kobe in the off season will do. Kobe worked with him and it shows in his game. From that pull up from the L on the free throw line to even his shot taking and selection, team that up with his already great defense......shall I dare say MVP if he continues this way?

I would love to see him win MVP. And yeah, he had the confidence/responsibility of the Spurs being "his" team now.

That strip and dunk last night though.

Leonard will win MVP this year, Curry's and Durant's numbers will suffer because of ball distribution. Besides, what a great story line for the post Duncan era.

I concur. MVP has historically gone to the 1st to 3rd seeded team. Bestbrook will be in that conversation too

I lost Jared Sullinger to foot surgery, so I picked up Joe Johnson. Dude goes off for 29 pts. I'm happy.

MVP this year.... I'm guessing it'll be between Lillard, Leonard, Westbrook, LBJ or PG13.

Siiiiick, homegirl just got us seats directly behind the Celtics bench in Charlotte this weekend for my birthday. Although not my actual birthday, we were talking about flying to BOS for a home game but too much other **** got in the way. Sweet compromise.

If the Nets make the playoffs this year, for some odd reason, I won't be surprised. They lost every preseason game, they've lost their season opener, but I suspect they'll improve over the next few games.

My sister moved to Charlotte a few years ago after living in San Diego for 10 years. She has no plan to move back to Cali.

whats not to like?

With that being said, I greatly appreciate visiting places like LA, DC, SF, NYC; however, I'm positive I can get the best out of those places by visiting. Come to NC for sure. I nor any other transplant I know has any remote intentions on leaving. Neither of our main cities are anything compared to the big ones; however, for day to day living, accommodations get close and what is a miss is an easy weekend trip with money saved on rent and not paying $500/mo for a parking spot.

Yeah I watched the highlights from last night and they looked pretty good. Lets see where they are after the all star break though

Doubtful, but I wouldn't be mad if they did.

How about that 50pt game from Davis last night. It's got to suck though to put up those type of numbers and still loose.
