Default New 2015 Honda Ridgeline

Just with a traditional truck line, it should be a win.

No.

J series older than Ridgeline.

You got it backwards.

Honda needs to stop making this thing. Stick to civics, accords and crvs.

The sketch shows the direction that Honda is planning for its new truck, which appears to ditch the single-piece body in favor of a more conventional pickup truck design.
i don't know how you can tell this from that white line. think it's really gonna be body on frame though?

why does Honda refuse to make a damn 8 cylinder?

I hope it is not body-on-frame. Honda's trump card is being able to compete with the Tacoma and Frontier in towing, mpg, etc. while having the superior IRS for ride and handling.

And let's face it, that market is open right now. If they go after Ford/Chevy/Dodge full-size, they aren't going to win that segment in this country.

The J-series works just fine in a truck...it just needs the 3.7L bump from the Acura lineup.

If it's not getting atleast 25 mpg hwy, they might as well scrap it. Full size trucks are already at or near that mark.

The Tundra is also getting a 5.0L Cummins.

The new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is looking to be a tough competitor for the Frontier, Ranger, Tacoma, Ridgeline.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...do_first_look/

It has 3 engine options: 193hp/184tq I4, 305hp/270tq V6, and a 2.8L Turbo Diesel.

Not everyone wants a full size truck. I don't care if an RV/Winnebago gets 30mpg...I'm still not going to buy one.

Hope it's good. At least the outline is better than the previous version.

Man, I really hope they don't make it ugly. They're going to make it ugly, aren't they.

Thats more than aside the point, if a full size truck that can do more with a bigger motor gets better mileage why would you want a smaller truck with worse?
