Default Donks with corporate logos?

Let me start out by saying that I have never lived in the city, so forgive me for possibly being behind the power curve on this.

I've spent the last few months in oklahoma city for work training. Within the first few weeks I saw a 80's caprice with two tone yellow and red paint with a mcdonalds logo on the side jacked up with some 20-something" rims. I thought they were just retarded so I moved on. Then as we were coming back from watching "the day the earth stood still" (btw it had the preview for wolverine: origins, looks promising) and I saw a baby blue caprice of similar design except it had a starburst logo(the candy) on it and a bunch of starburst vinyls stuck to it.

What is the significance? My friend said it had something to do with the drugs that they potentially sell. Why the hell would you advertise that on your car?

There's a local guy with a 442 Cutlass that slammed on 22s with a Cheetos paint job, I'd drive it, lol. I don't really understand it though. There's like 6 sunkist "donks" in the local hood

"Where im from in Oklahoma, If you wear clothing or display on your vehicle, the pilsbury dough boy it means they sell cocain or crack cocain. if someone wears or displays bugs bunny, it means they sell marijuana and if they wear a shirt or display a snowman it meams they just sell cocain only no crack. Mcdonalds means marijuana also and M&Ms mean they sell pills"

^^^Quoted from a law enforcement forum........So not only are they stupid enough to jack up their cars, paint them ridiculously, and slap on oversized rims, but they are dumb enough to advertise their drug sales.

It may or may not have begun like that, but i think it has evolved into a style or culture for donks. Same with this jdm import culture.

over here people get paid to put stickers on their cars to advertise a company. Though they do have strict rules who can apply. For example a car must not have rust and must look "decent".
