specifically benedryl 25mg tablets. my allergies are going hay-wire right now and it's so miserable to function without these drugs......

will i fail a drug test because of these?

the answer is probably no, but just double checking

No.
Drug tests usually only look for specific drug types.(opiates, cannaboids etc). This is why I think they also ask for if you're on any prescription meds cause painkillers would show up on them.

wouldnt hurt to tell the drug screeners.

I always tell them ahead of time about my adderall since it causes me to fail for amphetamines every time lol.

The diphenhydramine in Benadryl can show a false-positive for tricyclic antidepressants at higher doses.

If you took Benadryl Plus or Benadryl-D, the pseudoephedrine can show a false-positive for amphetamines. I'd let them know of any medications you've taken to cover yourself in case there is a false-positive.

Pseudoephedrine can cause a false positive for meth because they're closely related.

take zyrtec instead, why would you take benedryl and be miserable/drowsy all day.

The Dr. told me that if I ever run out of my take-as-needed chill pills, I can substitute with a benedryl.

You can't use your allergy medicine as the reason you failed the drug test. Sorry OP.

Forget benedryl pay the extra and use Zyrtec. Trust me, from a guy who has suffered his whole life, Zyrtec is some of the best stuff out there.

before benedryl, i was using clariton easy tabs 10mg and it did not work for me. i stepped it up to benedryl's 25mg and it works wonders. I'll try that brand next time when im out of these benedryl tablets.

i dont have any side effects with benedryl, no sleepiness or drowsiness.

2012 is expected to be a killer allergy year...stock up!

Different people, different results.

To me, Zyrtec is no different from Claritin. Benadryl is the only stuff that works for my allergies.
