Default Civic Type R coming to America???

I keep hearing that the Civic R is scheduled to arrive on american soil??
Is this true??
Pls inform me, I'm tired of rumors..I need the truth...

it's a rumor. that's all it is.

until I see it on the lot, or an official press release from American Honda, it's just a rumor to me.

It's a rumor until it steps foot on American Soil. But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

come on guys,

would honda be silly enough to introduce a car out here as a honda-civic-type-r that would kick the living crap out its bigger brother, acura rsx type S?

I don't really think that would be a factor. Honda and Acura like to distance themselves. And outside of a few enthsiusts (read: us) no one shopping for a civic or an RSX would even compare the two.
