Default annoyed by the green double-underlined words? heres the fix...

its been posted here before, but that was long ago. i just did a disk cleanup and deleted all my cookies, so those green underlined words came back. annoying as hell if you ask me. you accidently scroll over it and a annoying add pops up. well i figured i would pass on some help to get rid of them.

here is the fix.....

http://www.vibrantmedia.com/wh...t.com

at the bottom will be this... Do you want to disable the IntelliTXT links? Deactivation requires the use of cookie technology. If you should delete or refresh your cookies, please note that the service will be re-activated automatically. Click here to disable. click to disable and no more ads and junk.

bookmark it, and pass it on if you wish.

enjoy.

i dont see why it would be a problem. i dont click any of those ads anyway, so whats the difference if i can see them or not. plus, if they didnt want it to be done, why would they make it possible to disable it? oh well.

if your mouse simply moves over them it pops up a window.

that disabling site still isnt working for me.

wow...it worked....awesome..i get so annoyed cuz ill be seraching for something and ill go to try to click on something and one of those windows opens and i click that window instead of what i was trying to click on, it made searching for stuff such a pain in the ***

i dont think we will get into trouble because theres nothing in the rules or tos that says you cant do what we are doing, and no mod has posted any info in this thread about it yet

Here's the easiest way to get rid of them:
1. Scroll mouse over the word that's double-underlined
2. Click the upper right-hand part of the box that says "InteliText" or whatever
3. Will open new window and take you to their site
4. Lower left-hand part of the screen will show you something that says "disable"
5. Click disable and don't worry about seeing them again
6. /thread

I think if you clear your browser cookies it whacks the line-blocking jaunce.

Or you can add this to your hosts file:
