I worked at a GM dealership for awhile. And i will feel confident in saying that at least 100 percent of GM vehicles are overpriced plasticky garbage.

I would definitely own one if I needed a car like it. Decent size and best gas engine fuel economy offered, and good acceleration is only $200 away with Trifecta tune. Though TBH if I'm spending a little over 20k I'd be in a Fiesta ST.

It's still a Chevy, it's still a Cruze. Nobody on here would seriously consider buying one over all the other many vehicle choices out there.

Yah, the U.S market really has a glut of diesel powered sedans under 30k.

I gave them a credit for trying to improve and design has been a lot better over the years, but I personally would never buy gm CARS.

Last time I was in Washington, my rental was an impala and buddies rental was an Altima.
Not sure what the MSRPs are, but the Altima was so much nicer. I would never buy the 2012 style impala.

I do think they current cruze does look pretty sharp from the outside though. More than you can say for the focus

New Impala >>> old Impala though. Totally different ballgame. Consumer Reports (for what it's worth) compared it to the RLX!

Would buy previous cruze over civic so that probably rings even more true with this one. I can already tell the interior is going to be a better place to be in.

GM cars are still hot garbage. Had a 2013 Chevy Malibu as a rental while the car was in the body shop and the build quality, steering, brakes, and ergonomics were so abysmal that I had to 'class down' to a VW Beetle. I never thought I'd be so excited to get behind the wheel of that silly thing, but I honestly was. GM has had defenders since the 70's and in hindsight, they always look like silly fools. Not to mention the R&D of the current one was done by F'n Daewoo.
