Default 06 Honda Accord Key

So my family has an 06 Honda Accord and they have a new key blank, unfortunately the dealer will only make keys with their own blanks. Do you know of any other services to get a Key or to write a key?

Honda dealer = $$$

find another dealer. i had an ebay key blank cut by one dealer around me while the others didn't. works fine. test the key before you leave and have them buff it to make it run easier.

Is this the remote key?

If it's just a blank with a chip, then it's not $$.

You can remove the chip out of the factory key and glue or tape it around the key cylinder and use any blank key that you want. You don't really think that chip does anything do you?
