I suppose that one day I will have to break down and buy a Glock.

One day.

Not today.

Maybe it's because I don't have a lot of experience shooting smaller guns, but I wasn't a fan of the 19. I didn't like how my pinky was. Much prefer the 17 over the 19.

I prefer gripping the gun with my middle two fingers so I don't have to worry about what my pinky is doing.

Broke in my 270 today. Wind was howling pretty good but I thought for break-in it would be ok. Cleaned the barrel after every shot for the first 12 or so. Dialed in the scope fairly close.
im going to place an order so the scope will have to come off again.

So first it was red dots. Now compensators.

I was looking at .460 Rowland conversions a while back where those are required equipment.

competition guns have had comp barrels for a long while. Heck, they even have guns like the 19C that's compensated from factory.

I forgot some of the sequence while shooting after my first break to label them. As you can see I dialed my scope the wrong way after the first shot. These were @ 100.
i had some more tape at the top and was pretty much dialed in by then. The 3 lower shots were off a folded towel with some handloads my dad made.

Still no word on my suppressors

just wasted this talon grip. ****. POS whoever did the cutout for this.

I don`t mind Glocks. It`s just that it`s muscle memory for me to go looking for the thumb safety. I`d be fucked under duress.

I`d much rather prefer the look of Glocks over Sig or M&P. Also, Glocks are reliable AF. Iraqveteran tortured the **** out of one.

Let me guess, it's the front area where it overlaps? I just cut it so it look like it followed the grooves and doesn't overlap.

Hit the range again with my rifle. 1 other guy there and no wind. That never happens.
i think we are going to order some good bullets and make some handloads.
The cheap Remington core lokts I bought are shooting ok but I want more. Looking at some noslers or hornady eldx.

I bought a conversion for my 1911. Even with the compensator, recoil is pretty stout.

They're in Tulsa too, with their shop in the downtown area. Always thought that was strange.

Not trying to clown or show you up, but that grouping is pretty bad for the amount of money you're into it. You should've bought a Ruger American.

I mean, you're like probably $1000 into your current set up, but for $260 including scope, bipod, rifle, tax, and a box of garbage ammo, my POS Ruger American .308 was sub MOA right out the gate.It has a shitty stock and gritty action, but all that is irrelevant when taking price into consideration.

This was 100 yards indoors with extreme low light conditions, now my windage maxed out because the scope was damaged internally, but even though it was shooting 3 inches to the right, it was still Sub-MOA using garbage Winchester White Box. These are 3 shot groups here.

No need to clown because I'm not a marksman. My dad has Ruger Americans and shoots sub moa out of the box too. He's also been shooting his entire life. Won numerous 3 gun competitions, handgun comps etc.

That is my first time out with my gun. I haven't shot at more than a squirrel with a .22 for more than a decade. I tend to plink with semi autos. I rarely do that too. Most of the time it consists of driving around and seeing nothing to shoot at.

I expect with practice to get better. You should have seen the inconsistency today. No wind even. I did start at 200 though.

As much as I like to shoot guns it's not my thing. I'd rather grab my bow and even that I've only taken up in the last 2 years. I'm no marksman with my bow either. Just good enough to put down 2 deer. I'm 2 for 4. Missed a deer at 37 (it helps to use the bubble level btw). The next day I shot a deer at 37(used the level). Missed an elk at 49. Shot a deer at 10.

As soon as I wrapped it and saw the overlap was I was and I believe this is the new design so it's like wtf...what asshat gave this the green light?

I was gonna send them a photo of mine after cutting and suggest they start making them like that but eh, too lazy.

I hit the trap range yesterday to pay and sign up for another competition. While there, I put 75 rounds of steel shot down range in practice rounds which is about a third of what I'd normally shoot. This has never happened to me before, but I woke up this morning with a huge red blister on my shoulder from the shooting. I don't know if I'm just getting old or what, but I've never had recoil pains or sores before.

AMZN gave me another one

Don`t think I`m gonna slap it on. Found a local shop with a P320C in FDE. Going to drop by to get that.

The strips are crooked. Glocks are easier because it does not have the circular medallion/logo.

Awesome quality on this
