ZC SOHC 1.6 VTEC turbo questions? The only thing I have done so far is I have a ZC SOHC 1.6 VTEC engine and tranny combo in my car been in there a few years now. Don't drive it at all really work from home so the engine has very low miles. I also have a turbo with a manifold I got from a friend almost 5 years ago too. My question is the way the engine sits right now what kinda HP could I get if turboed the engine stock the way it sits now? The guy who sold me the turbo a while back also told me what I would need parts wise trying to make sure I remember it all:

Clutch
Inter cooler pipe
Inter cooler
Fuel injectors
3" down pipe
Someone to tune it

On the opposite lets say I wanted to go like in the 450hp range what would I need to do then?

Fresh stock engine, with the intent not to blow it up any time soon, is in the 220~240 hp range on the high side.

You are missing some parts from your list and there are a couple items on your list that are questionable..

If 450 is an honest goal, you really need to read and become fluent in turbo.
450 is pushing pretty hard on a D motor.
