What does it look like and where is the main relay? (pgm-fi main relay)
I'm trying to locate the PGM-FI main relay on my 97 civic cx hatchback with the 1.6 non vtec (d16y7) and can not find it at all! I called a honda dealership and they said it was either under the drivers kick panel or under the fuse box but I can't find it in either spot. I practically tore out my fuse panel just trying to find it and there is nothing!
Help me please!!!!

Re: What does it look like and where is the main relay? (T25 civic)
I pulled mine once because I kept blowing a fuse. On my 98 teg it was on the drivers side northwest from the in-cabin fuse panel. It was light-gray in color about 3in x 2in and held in place by a single bolt. From what I remember there was more than one relay that fit that discription. The main was the biggest one though. It was a pain in the *** to get at.
Also, someone told me a usual syptom of one of those relays going bad was a burnt smell to it. In my case it turned out not to be the relay that caused my problems it was my O2 sensor, the wire had frayed a bit and grounded itself out.

Re: What does it look like and where is the main relay? (i2un)
I found the main relay and did some testing from a wiring diagram I have but I still can't figure out the problem. My fuel pump fuse (fuse 13) isn't getting power when its supposed to. The fuel pump fuse runs to the pgm-fi and sends power to the pump and ecu. Could this be the problem? How can I fix it or where can I mess with it to see why that fuse isn't getting power?
