washer fluid bottle relocate.
ive removed my washer fluid bottle to make room for intercooler piping and i cant stand not having it. I'm **** about a clean windshield lol. anyways im looking for ideas and suggestions on what to do about this, i heard the type r bottle was smaller and could fit on top of the piping but i cant even find a pic of one to confirm this. all ideas are appreciated.

Re: washer fluid bottle relocate.
What size charge piping are you running or how did you route it that you have to remove your washer bottle? i have 2.5" on my dc and didnt have to remove mine

i dont have any pics that show that angle but on the right side i pretty much do a full u turn same as left side and then go 90 into the turbo.

ya im lazy lol. i wanna know if a type r bottle is smaller and also it should only have one hole for a pump because it doesnt have a rear wiper or if theres a civic one i dont know about thats smaller or if someones made one for another spot in the engine bay.

its not that close its like at least 4-5 inches up into the bottle i fooled around a bit with where i was gonna place the intercooler and where it is i think is the best spot for it with the bumper on for looks and air flow.

see what i mean, i think with a bigger intercooler which i plan on going to anyway i could get it under the bottle maybe ill just leave it till i buy a better one and actually tig all the charge piping toogether all at once. ive also got a silver surfer planned for the future but not until my internals are done so maybe not till next year around this time.

i was playing around with cutting some of the middle section out of the bottle and plastic welding it back together while eliminating the hole for the rear pump.

Hmmm. I have a 600hp precision in my dc with 2.5" charge pipes and it fits well. I don't have my car here in Texas otherwise I'd snap pics for you. I see what you mean by wanting good positioning for the intercooler though

thats what i mean with a larger intercooler id bet i could get the piping down to where the lip is giving me the few inches i need to fit the bottle again.

i asked about the smaller itr bottle over on the itr forum im really really curious to know now lol. ive been looking at a bunch of pics of ppls cars with the bumper off and the larger intercoolers i dont think it will even be an issue once i upgrade cuz i can run the piping substantially lower so im just gonna wait till i do that, i just really want to know if the itr one is different now lol.

I used a generic coolant overflow bottle off ebay and did kind of a tucked washer bottle deal. Works great and the bottle was cheap!
It clears my 2.5" IC piping very well!
Here is a link to something similar on eBay

You just need to find a proper sized drill bit or hole saw to cut holes in the side of it for the washer motors and your golden. I put my digital calipers on the outside of the washer motor to get an O.D. measurement and used a comparable sized drill bit to cut the hole. Also the rubber grommets out of your stock bottle work great for sealing it up for no leak install!
