Vaccum box....brake booster.
I ran my vaccum box inline with the brake booster. It has 6 outlets, and two inlets. So i just cut the brake booster line in half, and put 5 plugs in, and 1 hose connector. I hooked my boost guage up to it, even tho im still NA for a few more days. Here is my problem. The boost gauge shows about 20 vaccum, and when i accelerate moves to about 18 vaccum, let off the gas 25 vaccum, then back to 20. So I plugged the boost gauge into another vaccum source...and it works perfectly. I plugged my 3 bar map sensor into my new vaccum box, and the car runs for 10 seconds...then dies. SO I unded up T-ing on of the oem sources, since I couldnt figure out why it did this. So my question, is will my wastegate, boost controller, and BOV all work on the brake booster setup, or did I waste my time and money? PLZ help

Re: (DA-MAX)
Check valve? My car has no check valve on the brake booster. Its inline with the big thick vaccum line. Should there be some valve?

Re: (civcexcoupeblack)
guess what, it's in the big vacuum line going to the brake booster!
Tee off the vac box somewhere other than the brake booster, or locate the check valve in the line, and Tee in before that valve, then it will work perfectly.
