Anyone know the specs of the headbolts as well as the exhaust manifold bolts?

I believe the headbolts are 15x1.5 thread pitch.

The exhaust bolts are 8x1.25

Anyone know the tranny bolt specs. I wanna purchase some more bolts for my engine stand.

Please Correct me if I am wrong on the above specs.

For the tranny bolt. I believe it's m12x1.25 and should be about 60mm in length?

Do you need lengths too? I've got an engine on the stand right now I can measure later on tonight for lengths.

The thread size/pitch for the tranny is M12x1.25. The odd thing is that I can't find a tap for that fine of a thread in that bolt size.

Head bolts are M11x1.5. You can look up the length on Acura Carland's site.

If you're using the bolts for mounting the engine to the stand, they need to be longer than 60mm I believe. The length depends on how deep the arms are on the tetrapus.

The only tap I really need is for the headbolts, and the exhaust manifold. I was installing my full-race manifold and screwed up 1 of the threads. So I am going to chase all the exhaust manifold bolts.

I think I did get a M11x1.5. I am not sure how I got M15. Glad I posted on here. I am going to use that to chase the threads before I install my ARP headbolts.

If you can get me lengths for the engine stand that would be great.

I think the bolts I used were 65mm or 70mm for the two top holes. They came from the misc. Honda bolts bin that I have. The ones I bought from the store didn't seem to want to thread.

For the lower holes, I used either 7/16" or 1/2" bolts x 4.5" length with some washers and a corresponding nut to secure it. 1/2" sounds more like it than 7/16" b/c the holes accomodate 12mm bolts.

I was not able to find a store tonight that had the m12 in 1.25 thread pitch. I'll have to do some more searching tomorrow.

Pepboys might have a 65-70mm bolt.

I always get them from the local hardware store. The ones with the Ace Hardware bags.
