GT3076R isn't huge.. what kind of compressor cover is it? Open DP, full exhaust with a muffler?

This applies to OE style designed turbochargers. The sounds that are coming from the turbo are designed to be at a frequency we can't hear.

prob your exhaust toning the sound out. If you want to hear your turbo run it open down pipe. I don't recommend it thought.

You may not have a GT3076R with an inducer bleed grove. It may sound "quieter" if it is an older Precision unit.

Can some of you experts explain to me how an exhaust is going to quiet the sound of air being sucked into the compressor housing? I keep hearing exhaust exhaust exhaust and that is not what is muffling the sound.

OP post a pic of the compressor housing...

I think a video will help people understand and diagnose your problem

He doesn't even have a problem his car is fine he just wants to rice it up. If its quiet that's a plus for sleeper status. I'd rather not have people know I'm boosted and get robbed

Hehe. then you're in the wrong hobby, my friend. You can either be a little less powerful and quiet, by using intakes made of rubber, recirculating blow off valves and the use of as much sound absorbing plastics and non-flammables as possible, with a close-to-stock exhaust with baffles and resonators..

OR,

You can deal with the fact that a non-factory turbocharged honda will gain attention no matter what you do, and carry a big stick with you.

Dont be an *******. Having this sound is another perk to turbocharging any car. Driving a modified car to some is a whole experience. The feel, the smell and the sound of the car make it worthwhile. Go NA with your car and head to another forum is you think this guy is trying to rice out his car and everyone should drive a sleeper.

Is everyone serious in this thread or is it me? Do you really think he can't hear his turbo at all? He's just over exaggerating tremendously. Every single factory turbo car I been in I could hear the turbo spool. And in cali I would rather not get my hood popped every time I pass a cop cause he could hear the turbo spooling pulling out of a drive way. He said the power is there he just can't hear it so what's the problem be happy it hasn't blew yet trying to hear it spool.

I agree with what you're saying. If the power's there and the car runs fine end of story. If you want more turbo "noise"... up the boost.

If noise is all you want maybe consider a turbine/jet engine swap
