safe hp level for daily driving
Still havent decided whether I want to daily drive my setup or not, so I thought I would ask. What would be a safe hp level to daily drive a stock obd1 b16 with walbro pump, golden eagle fuel rail, aero fpr. I am purchasing a gen III drag turbo kit with t3/t04e 50 trimm turbo. So I was told 320whp is safe on the block but not for daily driving, so what would be safe for daily driving? Thanks

omg
it doesnt matter what hp you have!
as long as the motor is tuned and built right to withstand the power than you can dd it all day, how long will it last? know one knows! it can last a weak if you dont maintain it right and beat the crap out of it!
second the choice of clutch will play a big roll in your daily driver! use a full race 6 puck clutch and your leg is gonna kill you for it! use a more street freindly clutch like a exedy stg 1-2 and driving your car will be much easier.
third anything past 400hp and your gonna have major traction issues unless you adress them. use a lsd, stickier tires, better axles and suspention to help that.
imo on a stock motor u should boost around 7-10psi and keep the hp around 300hp, thats a good power level for a street car.

"VEGETA WHAT DOES THE SCANNER SAY ABOUT HIS POWER LEVELS?, ITS OVER 9000!!!!!"
just the b16 block stock internals? for comparison, i was told my d16y8 can handle over 300 with some vitara pistons and upgraded rods, stock sleeves, then again d16y8 is not as great as the b16 motor xP
