Boosted setups and emissions inspection?
Hey,
for those that have emissions inspections with a turbo setup...
I swapped out injectors and map. Took out a section of piping and put on a reg intake. Stuck the original ecu in. Should I take out the wastegate spring or does it even matter?

Re: Boosted setups and emissions inspection?
You should be good to go. Keep the wg spring in and just make sure you stay in vacuum the whole time you baby the car to the inspection. If you take the wg spring out it will sound like you have a 38-44mm size hole in your exhaust lol. What year is your car? Here in Oregon you don't have to pass any inspection if your car is more then 20 years old.
