replacing toasted valves
I think I toasted 2 exhaust valves... I was on the dyno and had a problem with 2 cylinders running extra lean under ~8psi of boost. When I pulled the head, I saw that the exhaust valves in those 2 cylinders are WHITE. I also have 1 leaky intake valve.
First question: Should I have to replace these valves? They're not leaking at all (via pouring gasoline in the combustion chambers and letting it sit)
second question: When replacing valves, do I need to get a valve job to make the new valve fit in the head, or will a 100% new valve be ok to drop into an old seat if the seat looks alright?

If your on a budget you can just lap them, assuming the valve has been cut to match your seat...
so if your seat is 3 angle you need a 3 angle valve, but if its just a standard 45 deg you can just slap a new valve in it and lap it.
ekb18c i need a price qoute on some stuff from ya i don't have IM yet though (trial user) so can you email me at fast_a2_20v@hotmail.com
