p30 oil pan the same as p72 oil pan???

Default p30 oil pan the same as p72 oil pan???

like topic says is the b16 oil pan the same as a b18c oil pan?? need to know due to z10 block girdle install.. it says i need the gsr/r oil pickup and windage tray.. but i need to know if i need the oil pan too.. or if my p30 pan will work fine

The p72 is deeper than the p30.They are two different pans.

i knew they were different part #'s.. didnt know if they were basically the same.. im just going to pick up the gsr/r windage tray and oil pickup =.. hope the b16 pan works.. if not ill have to source one out then.

Reason a B16 pan won't work on a GSR is because of the 3-main girdle. I'm sure you will probably run into the same issue with an aftermarket girdle.

The B16 will not work.Like I said above the p72 is deeper.This is to allow the girdle to fit.

ok makes sense now.. the GSR's have a factory girdle.. explains why i need to use GSR main studs.. thanks guys!
