obd2-obd1 Passing ny state inspection
i have a 2000 honda prelude with a h22a4 motor. Its turbocharged and has a obd2-obd1 harness on it with a p28 ecu. They wont pass me with my inspection becuase the car wont communicate with the dmv computer bc of the older ecu. Any suggestions on how to pass ?

take off the obd1 conversion harness and temporarily run the stock ECU / injectors. take the WG spring out too so it wont build boost.

Not sure on NY emissions but in CT if the computer will not connect to an OBD2 vehicle then they have to put it on the rollers and sniff it. If its tuned properly and has a converter on it then you should be bale to pass emissions
