Default Nitrouse or Turbo? whats better for the b16........

whats up, my friends brother is coming back from california in a few days and hes got enough money for either a greddy turbo or nitrouse. its a 99 civic si with the usual bolt ons. Hes probly gonna be racing it on the weekends only so we were talking about nitrous maybe.

have you guys had any experience with nitrouse on the b16? how long did your motor last. is it a good investment or should he just spend more money on the turbo instead of worrying about blowing his motor. what do you guys think?

If he has the money for turbo I would say go for the turbo just because I started with nitrous, and if he's anything like me he will want the power of the nitrous all the time, hence the turbo. Also, turbo's, in my opinion, have more potential in tuning and power. But both is a match made in heaven.
