Default NGK BKR7E or NGK BCPR7ES11?

For 6 years I have been using NGK BCPR7ES11 on turbo HONDA's and haven't experienced any problems. I have heard people using the NGK BKR7E too. Which are preferred? At a temperature rating of 7, they are both cold plugs and aren't platinum or iridium. Does anyone know the advantages and/or disadvantages between the two plugs?

FYI: NAPA usually has the NGK BCPR7ES11 (stock#1095). Does anyone know the stock# for the NGK BKR7E?

BCPR7ES11 I believe has a special insulator and is gapped at 1.1mm, if Im not mistaken thats about the only difference.

confirmed!!

BKR7E..part #6097

only thing they arent pregapped to (1.1mm)
like the BKR7E11
you have to gap them yourself..
for FI guys you have to decrease the gap anyway so
who cares!

on a side note...thanks to good old Canadian Tire
i read in the NGK product book

(and they made this point distinctly)

that the BCPR plugs should
NOT be interchanged with the BKR

any insight into this..

i thought read on another board something about the -11s having an angled tip and the normal bkr7es having a flat tip, but don't quote me on that
