What ngine management are you running? No need for coil on plug really. Just do a cdi ignition box and a good coil and ditch the ignitor

I'm running s300, and I actually talk to my local shop today about the ignition. And I was informed that s300 does not have outputs fir coil on plug, so I will be using a cdi with coil,, def good looks on your info tho,,

7,500 is about the highest I'd go on stock valvetrain. I don't think gsr springs and retainers are the same as the ls. Another question is why did you choose such a low compression piston? You don't have a dsm. Your going to be a dog out of boost. 9:0:1 is about the lowest and really most people are running 9:5:1 - 10:0:1 This allows you to make more power on less boost. Just make sure your tune is good.

I wouldnt go anywhere near 7500rpm on stock LS valvetrain with or without bost. You can compress the valve springs by hand for god sakes LOL. no higher than 7k with boost IMO. some people do it but its ntoworth therisk of floating a valve. maybe 7200 if its a low milage obd2 minty fresh head off a b18b. DEF dont want to rev a CRV head that high the springs are weaker

Same p75 casting with obd0 pr4 intake springs, weaker than p75 springs.

My limiter was set @ 7,500 since the day I was tuned and I've been beating on it ever since. Not once have I had any issues with it. My friends setup is the same way and he's been boosted for 3yrs. His motor has 200k and mine had 90k now it's at 97k. We just might be lucky. I dunno

Yeah Joe is a good guy. He tuned a friends car for him. I think 350 might be a stretch for a stock head. Do you have an aftermarket intake manifold at least? My car started falling off at 7k so I think 7,200 would be a good place to set limiter.

yeah i have an aftermarket Intake manifold. ive seen a couple of people in this thread with 350 with completly stock ls's. if i keep the car i might do ls'v but well see. i might just build my ls head all depends. but joe knows his ls's. haha yeah i was gonna go to 7100 or 7200 and be done cuz i dont want to be floating valves haha.

It will be easier to reach with aftermarket manifold. My tuner told me that's a good 20hp upgrade. I didn't bother buying one since I knew I'd be going vtec soon. I thought when you said stock you meant completely stock including manifold.

Hey whats up guys I recently bought a 96 ls integra. The car is really clean but it was previously boosted. He actually gave me the turbo kit that was installed with the car but I needed to rebuild the turbo which I already did. I also need a couple other things like a new manifold which means I might have to get new piping. He was running an old log style manifold that was beat up!! Anyways I figured if im going to do something I wanna do it right the first time so im gonna take it step by step. First im planning on taking my engine out or buying a short block and buying rods/pistons. I am taking the block to the machine shop to get it honed bored and balanced. I will also be replacing everything while its apart (timing belt, water pump, rear main seals, crank seals, and all gaskets).
I wanted to get your opinion on what pistons to go with the eagle rods. Also I am looking for good manifold that is not crazy expensive but I would like to keep my ac and p/s. I am running a ball bearing turbonetics t3 .57 trim turbo and I have 440 cc injectors and walbro fuel pump. My goal is to be at 300-350 whp but If I want to make more and eventually go vtec I would like the motor to hold it and be safe.Feel free to give me any suggestions on what you guys think and what I might be missing.

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

aftermarket intake manifold def carrys the power much higher. on my old ls-t it fell off at 6800 with the aftermarket i.m. it had less low end but carried power strong till 7400.
