Default K24 turbo, k20 6 speed tranny? Or 5 speed Honda stream tranny?

Hey guys.
I wondering if the Honda stream 5 speed manual transmission will be good for my swap,
I'm wondering if this tranny is strong and effective as the k20a2 tranny, for turbo application it's better long gears, so I'm thinking to use this 5 speed Honda stream tranny, any suggestions will be great, cos we don't have here this kind of model (stream).
The tranny model is : V2M3

Longer gears doesn't necessarily mean better. Many Evolution owners who had 6speed transmissions went to 5 speed for their particular purpose of racing or driving. This is something you need to find for yourself. What may good for one type of racing may not be better for the other.

Without a PURPOSE, this is moot.

The only advantage I would see for going to a 5 speed with k series is the strength. The 6 speeds like to shear gears when you get up into the 600-700whp range. Doesnt seem to be as much of a problem with the B series 5 speeds.

Really depends on the application, power level and characteristics of the power band otherwise.

It's still moot. Because for that power level, you'll need to reinforce the entire transmission to hold that kind of power and abuse anyway. In addition, at 800whp, you're not going to be on the street with that car anyway. You'll get beaten by an old 1.6 litre Vauxhall.

shooting for 800 HP...hasnt posted the PURPOSE of the car, dosent seem to know a shorter transmission would be best for the track cause thats what it will be..... PIPEDREAM

That car it's only for track, not street use, is anyone here try to use this king of tranny?
You can not find better answer, just the one that have been experience with this kind of tranny... I tried to use the k20a2 tranny on track with 500hp, trust me it's not easy with that sort gears...

No, not currently, (Nor will it likely ever be ). This is because that transmission is not really used in any way, shape or form in the U.S, which is where most of this hybridization and experimentation comes from. So, if it's not been updated, it's because (on at least this particular forum), there's nothing to update.
