Default Jdm009 "Graveyard" build

Okay let me give some back story. Back in 2014 i had bought a 1992 Honda Civic sir2 which was my dream car for any teenage kid in high school, boy did i love driving that car everyday. So along comes my buddy thats big into drag racing and after some convincing i ended up at the track getting ready to make my first pass and after that i was hooked so after about 20 more passes that summer i parked my car and was convinced i wanted to go faster so i started tearing things apart

Before i pulled the motor and started the on going project.

Later the next day i had the motor out and apart.

At first i was just going to do a piston and rod b16 but starting my new job out of highschool i got very busy and it was put on the back burners for a couple months. Around december 2014 i bought a motor from a guy that had built the motor but didnt wrap it before he tapped it and had to sell so i scooped it up for a good deal! Its a LA sleeved B18b with a P8r head w/crower 404 cams. Over the next year i acquired alot of parts including a prescion 5858 turbo and all the other parts on my wish list.

the last picture was the way it sat until about a month ago. It was almost complete just needing a downpipe to be finished and then....

I bought this 1997 Ek that had a full fabbed roll cage that just needed to install some suspension parts that i had in my garage. Now im waiting on my motor mounts to come in and then i can drop the motor in and get to work!!
P.S does anyone know about the x brace on the doors if ill have any problems with passing tech?

Little update the ek is somewhat on hold because I decided to purchase my first house so it'll defiantly be a over the winter thing but Ivegot everything ready to go except for wiring so I decided to go with a rywire mil spec harness with the race chasis adapter with a race spec switch panel. On another note I bought a 96 integra gsr off a buddy with a Jdm front end for a steal equipped with tein super steet coils and drag dr46s 15x7 +10 offset

Having kids, buying/selling houses, and keeping the wife happy can really extend the time it takes to finish a build. You just have to be a little more patient as you get older and life gets real.

This is so true! My build is taking forever because of these exact reasons lol.

INstalled my chasebays wireharness hooked up all my charge pipes and exhaust!
Plasmad out a rear diffuser as kinda just for fun lol
Quickly mocked up a switch panel bezel and put in the gauges! I went with a race spec panel because of the hondata plug!!
Wow can't believe it's bine so long but I've bine slowly playing around with the car! But won't be able to much as I have trades school coming up in January/February so that'll put the brakes on it a bit but I'll slowly but surely plug away. Hoping to have it going by June ish!
