Jackson Racing got new stuff...Yummy!
It's been awhile since we have heard anything about Jackson Racing Products...
I have to say...the stuffs that they are making now are yummy looking. I might have to give it a taste. Anyone with their new supercharger kit yet?

Agreed. I don't know how close to production these things are, seeing as how they can't even post a real setup (the one on the site is computer generated).

Damn, I just went there to look up some of the info they used to have on my kit, and now it's all gone. Looks like it's still up at http://www.supercharger.com/ if you need to get the install manuals or parts lists.
PS: What the hell are those springs on the headers for?

What's the point of all those springs though?</TD></TR></TABLE>looks like so you can take apart the header in sections.

Re: (Smokinsax)
You see springs like that on race car header(s) alot. Used to help with the thermal expansion. Less stress on the welds and such.

And the Rotrex does this without noise, without oil lines connected to the engine, and without the heat common in turbo applications. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I wonder what this mysterious heat is they are talking about with turbo applications.

Re: (Mr. Helsinki)
That's some nice looking hardware.
i'm dieing to see what that new supercharger can do.. looks like a much more cost effective way to make a supercharger kit - what's the price like?

Re: (Djaric)
turbos get extrememly HOT and cause the entire under the hood temps to go WAY up. He's stating that since it doesn't use exhaust gas to spool the temsp of the engine and under the hood are cooler and thus more efficent.
I've been following the rotex SCs for a while and wondeirng just how good they really are. I think it woudl be cool to see if they can preform anywhere near what a decent turbo can. I'd liek to tkae a 20psi one of those and pit it agaisnt my GT30R and see the differences. I also wonder if (seeing theya re using an actual turbo housing and compressor wheel) you can swap the housings and wheels for different compressor combos with standard turbo parts. (again theya re using a standard garret style housing and wheel so I think it coudl be possible).
