B20Z Turbo Dyno Results For your enjoyment
Putting this Here since its hard to find nice Firm Data on Setups especially with Dyno sheets
I picked every component of this build to deliver exactly what I achieved. The car delivers power anywhere in the power band that I ask it and I reach full spool between 3k to 4k I have this mated to a S4c Transmission with TypeR Final drive and LSD. I practically loose no pressure between gear changes and its just pulls like a N/A V6. There is minimal Throttle lag between off throttle and on Throttle.
Right now my engine temps hover around 195F to 200F, I think this is because of the off brand radiator I have. They do not ever exceed 210F. My A/C being on drives it up to the 210F Mark.
Any questions feel free to ask, I'll try to answer them.
Setup:
B20b (JDM High Comp)
Mfactory Cam Gears
Vtec Waterpump and Timing Belt
NGK Plugs and Wires

Swedish Dynamics Built turbo (T3 .48 Exhaust, T4 Compressor wheel in Machined T3 Housing)
Thermal Zero Turbo Blanket
3" Custom made Down Pipe to Clear A/C (Titanium Heat Wrapped)

38mm Tial Waste Gate with 5.8psi Spring
1.75 Inch Dump Tube 2 90* bends venting out of bumper
2.5" Intake Pipe with K&N filter

2.5" inlet/outlet intercooler Greddy core
2.25" cold side
HKS SSQV BOV
Factory 60mm Throttle body
B18B Intake Manifold
450CC DSM Blue Tops
ZIP Radiator Dual Core (Pretty sure this is crap)
Mishimoto Slim Fan with Shroud
HKS Grounding Kit
Open Filter Catch Can (2 1/2" lines going to valve cover)
9.4Lbs Exedy Flywheel
Competition Clutch 6 Puck Sprung
Neptune RTP with Mac Valve

You might have to call them directly for the same style I have, I bought it through a Ebay auction they had up. It also had 360* seals.

They where all taken before I ran my dump tube out of my bumper, the very last one is showing the dump tube but the picture sucks.

I don't believe it!!! I call BS on the humidity. Oh there was a turbo put on a stock engine, nice. 3,000 rpm worth of power isn't my forte, but as long as you are happy with it.

Whay pistons are these? I've yet to see a B20B with anything other than P3F pistons, which are the low comp ones. The high comp pistons are labeled PHK.

It's a JDM B20B from 99+, The head is Date stamped 99 if I remember right on mine. I checked it when I bought it. It also has the Knock Sensor which is a indication of the higher Compression B20's Factory quoted at 9.6:1

turbohatch... now that I've been thinking about it. a straight t3 60 trim would probably do exactly what you want without breaking the bank... plus it has the advantage of being rebuildable and something I can easily help you upgrade

Re: B20Z Turbo Dyno Results For your enjoyment
Hmmm interesting, next time im at my friends ill see if I can use his bore scope and see if I can read the code off of them. I just went by what I have read. I can check with someone I know around here that would know maybe. See if he has seen the same thing or not. Yeah, I like the power curve a lot. Just isn't any good for drag racing lol. It eats up traffic and nice tight compact curvy roads though.

195-200 isnt bad. remember you have ac still in there and that trans has your rpm up pretty high.
an oil cooler may help.
everything else looks good, keep up on the maintenance and enjoy!

The JDM's have high compression pistons, though the engine itself is not as high as the B20z. 9.2:1 vrs 9.6:1
What's odd though is that it has a knock sensor, I was under the impression that JDM B20's did not come with this. Possibly added?
