Re: How much more oil w/ turbo? (BoostedGSRBubble)
In all honesty the difference won't be worth mentioning. But I was wondering myself literally how much more oil would be needed, so I came up with the following:
I THINK AN fittings are measured in 1/16ths of an inch, so like 4 AN would be 4/16 or 1/4". Assuming this is correct (someone let me know if I'm wrong), you could figure the inner diameter to be 1/4 of an inch, so the radius would be 1/8 inch. So you would have 3.1415926*(1/8), and we'll assume a hose length of 6 feet (arbitrarily), so you'd have 3.1415926*(1/8)*6, which gives a volume of 2.36 cubic inches. We can also add a guesstimate of maybe 4 cubic inches for the volume within the turbo oil galley, adding to a total of around 6.36 cubic inches. I'd say that's MAYBE a 1/10 of a bottle of oil, so really not anything worth compensating for. Hehe, glad someone else wondered what I did too.

Damn Sherlock, good work
BTW, make sure you're running an oil restrictor or -3 line for your feed, otherwise you're gonna get too much pressure at the turbo and you have a very very good chance at killing the seals...like I did
Also, I'm sure that you see a lot of people running a -4 feed...well, they are probably running the Sunpro 1/8" BSPT to 1/8" NPT adapter fitting off the block, which has a tiny hole inside it so that it acts like an oil restrictor.
